Ice barrage vs ice blitz?

Just a quick question
i have 85 mage at the moment, would it be worth it to get 94 mage for ice barrage? Or is ice blitz enough

I don't have much PvP experience, but i would say Blitz is enough for 1vs1 but for multi barrage is better. I'm also pretty sure that the higher your magic lvl relative to the spell casted increases the accuracy.

 

Barrage hits a lot more often in my personal experience. Also, if you're 85 you're going to be tbing for your friends until you get 94.

 

Depends what type of pking your doing and what your stats are. If you mainly rush than stick with your current level. If your stats are say under 80 (range or str) you may aswell stick with blitz for now. If you do mage/range or str hybrid pking and your stats are reasonably good, It is then worth the time and money to get 94 magic for barrage.

 

barrage now hits over 30's so its definetly better

Blitz, because you can cast blitz and then attack wif melee / ranged and the damage will stack. I think if i remember correctly lol

 

Depends what your doing, if your just gonna autocast like an orange then blitz will do, If your gonna hyb it up then get barrage, blitz freezes for 20 seconds barrage for 30 seconds, makes a huge difference when your hybriding someone who can freeze you for an extra 10 seconds.

I think I'm going to end up getting 94 mage.

 

If I were you I would go ahead and get 94 mage, it is a pain but you could get vengence aswell with it . It is also a load more acurate

 

Barrage hits more,higher and the freeze last longer. If you have the time and money to get it, get it.

 

Blitz is more accurate, trust.

I'd recommend getting 94 though, otherwise you will find yourself becoming a tb slave + Venge/Barrage is one of the best perks in the game to have, imo.

 

I generally only pk by myself. Although, occasionally i will pk with another one or two people. Any tips for the fastest way to 94 mage that's also cheap/profitable...? MTA?

 

i would recommend you to get barrage as you see in the posts above it hits alot better.

 

i'd say go with blitz unless u do alot of multi-pvping otherwise blitz all the way....

 

tbh not too much of a need for barrage.. blitz is effective and a bit cheaper

Alching really is the best way, but if you can't do that - plus you have the money - I'd advise you to Stun.

Also, you can Stun with the clay armor/staff and do it for a couple mil more than Alching the whole way.
