PayPal Help

My paypal is limited and says I have to confirm location or something what will the phone call do? Anyone have experience with this

 

I'm not 100% sure, it's just my guess; I guess you would have to confirm it via a valid government ID (in my country we have a card specifically stating your address). Otherwise, they may send you a Mail which will contain a code which you have to enter to confirm that is where you live.

If by location your mailing address is meant; A phone call will not help in my opinion, as it does not prove where you live.

I may have missinterpreted your question though, I'm not 100% sure.

 

you need to send some info about your address.
just send them the info they need and you'll be fine.
if you don't exactly know what you need to show paypal then call them.

 

I think Paypal help via phone isn't available right now, I just tried them.

 

I don't remember any calls being involved when verifying my Paypal account? When I added my bank account, they did send me a few cents and asked me to confirm how many cents were sent exactly.

They may require the account holders ID and bank/credit statement. Basically they want to prove you're who you say you are and everything is legitimate.

Is your PayPal within the U.S?

Usually a utility bill will do it if you're outside the U.S.

Otherwise, you'll need bank/credit statement and proof of SSN as well I believe.

It's a hassle really, I personally prefer non-US verified PayPals.
