Runescape Crashing?

Anyone else experiencing crashes when they are in the Dwarven mines resource dungeon? The gamescreen goes completely black and nonresponsive. Everything else (browser, desktop, programs,etc) are running normally.

My computer is fairly new, less than 1 year old. I have the latest Java installed with all prior versions uninstalled.
RS did not have any problems in the past.

BTW, i'm playing rs in custom mode with DirectX and the highest setting possible for each field.

i had rs crash for a few seconds on my new comp today too. just once and i dont think again. it just turned black and then connection lost and then it went good again.

 

It's been repeatedly occurring for the past few days.
I'm not sure if it's limited to the resource dungeon specifically, but every time it occurred it was at that location

 

Don't go the the mines if it crashes you then? Or if you do go, turn your HD off..

 

It really hasnt been crashing me, i usually run rs in safe mode tho

 

try running in safe mode..

 

It has been crashing allot lately, because there's a new Java update, lol. Just DL it. If you don't, try not go to very populated spots.

 

Just wanted to know if it was a problem with my computer or other people have been experiencing something similar.

 

It's been fine for me, all my bots are enjoying it on Safe Mode

 

Like suggested, it is advisable to run your game in safe mode until Jagex get these updates sorted out.

 

Mines been crashing in Directx mode recently, dunno why because directx has always been the most stable option for me. Right now, i'm playing in safemode and it's running smooth.

 

Have no idea about it crashing at the resource centre but it did crash for everyone today at BH. So I guess it's just Jagex because runescape has a lot of server lag lately especially in BH worlds.

 

Run in safe mode. Happened to me and tried safe, it works .

 

its because of the new update that came out, they were working on updating the servers.

 

I've had no problems. Try running it in safe mode.

 

rs has been crashing for me, i cant even go on right now..

 

try putting it in safemode settings maybe that will help. hope you figure it out!

 

Its working now Its just been really laggy for me lately.. Weird, but thanks for your help!

 

I was wondering why RS was so laggy. I have a pretty good gaming laptop, and I thought there was something wrong with it. Glad to hear its just RS.

 

Been alright for me also, nothings happened. Although everyones said it, try safe mode!
