First Lure in RS?

Well, I remember luring back in 2002, though I didn't think of it as that. I would tell noobs (Not like I wasn't one also) that if you go deep enough in the wild there was full rune. They believed, me and I killed them. I never got any good loot; but it was a lot of fun. tell your luring stories

 

I have done it once just to try out the new abby whip. I told someone meet me a few feet in wildly when they were selling a tons of stuff. Then once they came in trade them then acted like oh something is wrong then run away and let them follow me, then when we were deeper, I entangle and then killed them for the stuff.

It was a fun one time deal haha

 

Tricked a guy in full black g into following me to the old Zammy altar, the one in like 30 wildy without any NPCs near it. Got em to attack me, owned em, walked away happy

 

Nice, ha. I just did it out of my pure lack of RSC pking skills.

 

I did same as above post put barraged all day then claw

 

i always did the "drop the 10000m pile" (even though it was 10k) and they would run in and me and my friends would ambush we got a couple masks and santas from it too!

 

That seemed like a good method, never tried that. All my attempts were nooby, and only attracted noobs.

Tribesman lure (tribesman attacks player and poisoned them for 11 damage)

POH lure (get them low hp then have them smelt something and it exploded and killed them)

And a few others.

 

Never heard of those, but nonetheless very creative.

 

Long ago, I did the Battle axe-for-whip one where I'd give this one guy like 4 dragon battle axes, and I'd kill him. It actually worked once, and made about 1.2M profit.

But yeah I used to lure kids to the zammy wine and be like, "I'll buy it off you once you get it, you just mass click it until you grab it; I can't get it because I'm 80+"

Find some one selling an item " full rune g etc" pm them saying i would buy it for 100Mil etc, say come to eddgy. Get them there drag them into the wild where a mate would dds or barrage them. Lol the good old days

Wow, i remember getting wanna be lured all the time i would get my friend with godsword to 2 hit them it was so funny i'd make mils

 

I'd drop my money on the table in my POH and be like, HOLY SHIT THE PILE IS MASSIVE! Then they'd do the same then I'd kick/lock portal and take the gold.

 

Oldest one i remember was the "duplicating glitch"

See someone in something shiny, tell them you can help them duplicate there item, take them to a secluded area, tell them to drop it then press alt +f4 then wait 30 seconds and pick it up :laugh:

Funnest one i remember was when they had just released poh, i had a workbench, and i said i could change the color of items if they put it on the table, so many idiots fell for it lol, they'd place the item on the table i'd kick them from the house and lock my portal, then pick up the item

 

Never actually lured but got lured quite a bit lol

 

i lured people while i was in full chicken and then id kill them after wielding a weapon and armor. lol

 

My first one was in 05, I was so scared of getting banned that I made a completely new account and lured on that one
