I'm interested in buying gold on RS 07. What is the likelihood of being caught and banned?

 

If you're buying on a small scale then it's unlikely you'll be banned. It also depends on weather or not the person you're buying from is being monitored by jagex.

 

Buy from a smaller seller that deals with less gold leads to a lower ban rate. Also if its a small amount and on 07 it's pretty unlikely I've sold/bought quite a bit without trouble.

 

I've bought and sold hundreds of times, the chances of getting banned are very low especially if you're buying from not very known sellers

 

They rarely ban low scale buyers as they know that if they ban them they might not renew a membership whereas a gold shop will likely continue their business and renew a membership with their game.

 

Jagex really doesn't look for those who buy, they spend much more time looking for the big game sellers. I wouldn't worry too much about it but you can reduce your chances by staking it or adding other items to the trade.

You should be good man. Very unlikely to get unbanned if you're buying varied amounts of periods of time.

 

How much are you thinking of buying? As explained the likelihood of being banned for buying is minimal.

Buying it from someone not big especially in small quantities you will rarely get banned

 

They usually ignore small end buyers they only really care about the players selling.

 

It depends on the amount like many have said chances aren't rlly high in my opinion unless u do it frequently

 

I've bought and sold gold lots of times, ban rate is practically 0 unless it is a huge purchase I would assume.
