Runescape can't log in?

I go into the lobby, and as soon as I click play now it takes like 30 secs to log in, and it logs me straight back out :S

How can I fix this?

 

Delete your cookies and refresh the browser.

 

The servers are playing up BADLY, I'd wait it out, I'm sure it's nothing to do with your PC.

 

when this happens to me I just randomly click the screen..it normally works and lets me log in...

 

I'm having the exact same problem right now too. It was also happening to several other people... not quite sure what to make of it.

Just wait like an hour and log back in. Thats what I do when I cant get it to work.

I deleted all cookies retried, it worked until about 4 days ago, I thought it was just that my mother's pc was about 10 years old. But seemingly was wrong, any updates thus far?

 

I tried cleaning my cache, but it didn't work. It's been stuck for like 2 hours or so here..

 

That is really odd.. I've noticed today that when I log in, it takes forever to load once I click play, and it almost freezes for 15-20 seconds before it resumes and lets me play. Kind of odd, and this only started happening today.

Do you have the latest version of Java? Also - are you connecting to the game via your browser or the RS client? Those could possibly be factors. Like somebody suggested already, I would clean your computer, empty your cache and delete your cookies before you try again. Good luck!

If you are still having no luck then I would suggest posting on the RS forums. There seems to be alot of people having similar problems and people are working to help get the issues solved.

 

Should be fixed now, with all the updates runescape was messing up
