    Explain to a returning noob

Can someone please breakdown the process of allowing someone to powerlevel my account? Should I give them a code every time they login from my Authenticator app on my phone? Or do I give them my backup codes and request new codes before the order is complete? I’m just trying to protect myself from getting recovered on the future. Thank you

I'd assume you'd have to deactivate authenticator and give full access to the trainer. Most powerleveling servicecs will have a TOS that you need to adhere to (or else lose your $).

The person I’m dealing with said that when the order is complete I need to just change my password and request new recovery codes and that would be all.

Backup recovery codes for instance if you lose your Authenticator device. You would use these codes to recover the account.

    Hi,

Generally when ordering an account service, we all recommend that you disable your authenticator as this reduces the hassle of connecting to your account on our own time. We also recommend having a password change that is/has only been provided to the account service provider.

Once the order is completed, you definitely need to change your password and then also re-enable your authentication.

What is stopping them from just changing my password and locking me out of my account?

To change your password they require access to your email address, if they attempt to change your password, you will receive an email notification warning you that someone attempted to change it, at that point, you need to change it to something to other then what you provided them, and cancel your order.
