Best way to 99 herblore

I want to get to 99 herblore and I want to make sure I have enough overloads or extremes left over for general gameplay. What would you recommend? Right now I am level 60 and would like to spend no more then 50m if possible?

 

Serums are fairly fast and cheap to make.

 

From 60-66 you should make super energy potions. You'll need avantoe herbs & wort mior fungus (sp?). You'll be getting around ~175k experience an hour.

From 66-91 you should be making super defence potions. You'll need cadanite herbs & white berries. You'll get 150 experience each and from 66-91 you'll need to make 36,034 for them. You'll be making about ~250k experience an hour at a level 66 potion.

From 91-99 you should be making extreme magic potions. You'll need to make 28,526 of these and you'll be getting about ~425k an hour. You'll need mud runes and a pestle & mortor. Then use the ground mudrunes with the magic potion

It's going to be a bit more than 50m but if you sell back your super defense and super energies you definitely won't go over 100M spent

edit: Not to mention you have all those extreme magic potions whenever you may need them

 

In addition to the above, I highly recommend you do you a little Dungeoneering and obtain the scroll of cleansing, it's only 20k tokens but can save you a bit when training Herblore. It gives you a 1/8 chance of making a potion twice as fast but, more importantly, a 1/10 chance at saving a second each time you make a potion. If you want to save a bit more at the expense of it being a bit slower, it can also save you an herb when making an unf pots IIRC.

 

Do a semi cheap method, but make sure you have plenty of extremes before you reach 96/99.

 

Ok I have like 250k tokens so i will get that.

And i am mainly looking to have attack,str,def extremes/overloads since I will need to do some slayer and such.

 

Serum 207's are cheap, but they are pretty much like cleaning herbs.

Have you looked into cleaning herbs with mousekeys/using RiD?
