Banned: Bot Busting (Moderate) & Website Advertising Severe Mute?

One of my accounts just got a 2 day ban. I checked the account status and it seems to also be permanently muted for "Website Advertising Severe". I literally have never spoken to anyone on that account let alone advertise any websites, just hit start on bots and let it do it's thing. Has this happened to anyone else?

Also, thoughts on botting on an account with a bot busting moderate?

same question here, do you remember the acc you sold me? also got a 2 day ban and i am worried about botting again lawl

also maybe you are flagged? saw you also created an other thread wehre you said a lot of accounts from you got hammered

 

I suspect the mute may have something to do with your past botting activities.

Botting further on a bot-busting moderate account is generally a death sentence; I haven't heard of many people botting extensively afterwards and not getting a perm.

 

IP has since been changed, so that's not the Problem. The other 8 accounts I'm using are still going strong.

This particular account is on a bond so a little over a week left after the 2 day ban

 

You were using a VPN when you created the account, email jagex and they will remove the mute.

 

This. Jagex often perm mutes people using VPNs that are affiliated with spam bots.

I don't talk with anyone anyways. Accounts unbanned now, is it safe to bot again? (5 other bots in the same place have been going strong)

 

Only in unpopular areas and if the script is private.

I would bot on a seperate IP if possible with the account that currently has a 2day ban, wouldn't want to risk your IP being flagged.

 

Well if the account that got the 2 day ban was using his actual IP then it's already flagged. You'd need to use a different IP before you were banned.

 

IP wasn't flagged I don't think, the other 7 accounts I run have been running 18hr/day since the ban 4 days ago

And it's hard to tell for sure if someone is flagged or not. Jagex can use the flags to watch over time, or they can ban right away. So just because you haven't been banned yet, does not necessarily mean you're not flagged. You could be flagged, or not; either way, not a risk I'd personally want to take.

 

Same area, same script, same IP

I only change my IP when I get multiple accounts banned in a short time frame. Just recently had 4/7 accounts banned, which I couldn't tell was an IP flag or mere coincidence, since all 7 accounts were also same area/script/IP.

8 days of mems on the account that got the bot busting ban, just gonna keep running it as scheduled until it goes f2p or gets banned lol
