    Explanation of the trade:
    Essentially, this is just a regular situation where I was brought onto their team of workers for their OSRS related services discord like any other. I paid $160 as a deposit as a worker, and I paid this in cashapp.

    How they scammed:
    A ToS as per usual was given alongside the job as a worker, and the ToS is pretty straightforward. I specifically asked how the deposit worked and how it was to be refunded, or debitted from, etc. Basically, I've seen that they don't get many jobs at all (especially the kind that I agreed to doing which is Questing & Skilling), and on top of that, my wife is due to go into labor any day now and I decided I wouldn't have nearly enough time as I thought I would, so decided I would just go ahead and ask for a refund, considering I didn't do any orders, no orders come in on a daily basis almost, and it was just an impulse decision of mine to start working on this side gig to be able to afford diapers and baby formula.

    Later, I get told that due to ToS, I can't receive my deposit back because "I already started an order". Which I didn't, and there's proof of that. I speak directly to the Owner Twinz, who is kind enough to agree to refund me, but then later his manager Eagle convinces him that they shouldn't.

    At the end of it all, I didn't get my deposit back, I never did any orders, and they refuse to reply to my messages. Eagle said any further message I sent him will be seen as "harassments", and the owner Twinz hasn't responded for days now.


    But essentially, I don't believe I started any order, given that the customer that they claim I "asked for login details, therefore starting the job", never gave me any login info, I never once logged into any client accounts or received any login infos from anyone for that matter, and thus, in my opinion, I never started ANY job. Meaning I effectively started 0 jobs, 0 jobs were completed, which under THEIR ToS, merits a refund of my deposit.

    I won't go into too much detail, as I will provide all the screenshots of our conversations from start to finish.

    I wouldn't be too stingy about $160, but with a baby on the way, I'm gonna need every dollar I can get. And if I feel entitled to this refund, I will take the time to make this post.

    Not only that, I was removed from their server, which means that even in their own words, complaining that I MUST finish 5 orders before pulling my deposit (which isn't the case according to their own ToS), I wouldn't even be able to complete 5 orders based on the fact that I was REMOVED from their server for no apparent reason other than I told them I wouldn't have the time, which in this case merits a refund of the deposited money.


    The Owner of RuneExchange, Twinz, (or GoldWyn), even said in his own words:

    "The one for topher is fine if he can confirm that you’ve not got acc details from him"

    Which I never received logins from him, which will be proved in the screenshots below. So I don't understand why after having proved that to him, they are still refusing my refund. Like I told Eagle, I have a reasonable suspicion to believe that they may have spent the money, and do NOT have it to refund back to me.

    As a final note, I don't harbor any ill will against them, and I don't wish for them to be banned or anything, I just want my deposit back. That's what it is, a deposit. Not a payment for a spot to work there.


    If any Sythe moderators want any additional info or screenshots of anything (besides their server since they kicked me from it), please do let me know, and I will happily oblige.

    Also worth mentioning THAT itself. Not only will they not refund my deposit, but have also kicked me from their server meaning I cannot even work there whatsoever at all, completely ruining their entire ToS, nullifying any sort of chance of me receiving my money back, as well as threatening me that any further messages to them will be seen as "harrasment", and I effectively will be "accepting the consequences that will bring upon me". Just straight threats

    So since I can no longer dm them according to Eagle, and Twinz wont answer my DM's, my hands are tied in the matter and the only option left for me was to open this dispute.

    In the screenshots he posted, he CLEARLY agrees to the ToS which states after you start an order, you must finish 5 orders or you arent eligible for a refund on your deposit. In one of our tickets, he tells the customer that he will complete the order, and asks the customer for his login information. This is him starting the order. Fella starts the order He claims that we KICKED him from the server, however, he LEFT the server after the last message I sent him. He had the option to agree to complete his required 5 services, or he could be taken off the team with no refund, and he chose to leave. Calling us scammers is simply incorrect. You agreed to the ToS, you started a service, and you are not eligible for a refund. If i gave you a refund, I would be going against my own ToS, and suddenly I would have to make exceptions for every other worker that wishes to leave early, and would basically make our ToS look more like suggestions other than actual rules.

    I take full responsibility and I agree to pay in full the refund as I’ve just checked my audit logs and eagle has in fact KICKED fella from Rune Exchange, so he’s lied to me when I trusted him.

    on top of this for the inconvenience I’ll pay an extra 20$ to you fella, I did not expect this from eagle & I’ll take full responsibility for this.

    I can confirm this has been repaid by @Goldwyn

    It does seem however that @Eagle557 has scammed us both, he needs a DNT on his account, and Twinz is good to go from this situation
