Botting ban rate seems to be on the rise.......

So first of all, there does not seem to be as much bots around in lumbridge.
That is proving Jagex have cracked down.

Second of all, Jagex seem to have implemented anti-spam to prevent players from spamming. That has taken down all the spambots in one stone.

Third of all, one of my god damn f2p accounts got banned for woodcut botting. Now since when do you get banned for woodcutting? I don't know. A few months ago i botted a throwaway account to 91 woodcutting then it got hacked. It's username is Powersing36 if you want to go ahead and look it up on the hiscores.

 

Woodcutting is a hugely botted skill, you're taking a huge chance botting that, along with Range guild. If you didn't get banned, you either didn't do it enough or you got lucky.

 

Besides Dungeoneering, botting in F2P has always got me banned.

 

I've botted 130m Attack XP on one of my P2P Abyssal demon farmers...

The other day I was training a pure at Minotaurs...and it got perm banned after achieving 71 Strength in 2 days time.

Seems like they're only cracking down on F2P bots, they won't ban P2P bots since they want your monthly subscription since that's how they make money.

 

I got pretty damn shaken up by this, this is only the 2nd account in my possesion that has ever been banned.

Woodcutting on f2p is like an instant ban in my mind. So many low level accounts bot f2p in crowded areas and I'm pretty sure Jagex just sweeps through every few weeks and mass bans groups of botters in highly populated areas like that. Most things on F2P are instant ban if your botting too much, or in an obvious area. Jagex just doesn't need all the extra bots cluttering up the game if they are not making them any money.

 

i got from 72-92 woodcutting and no banned... but i botted cockroach soldiers on the same acc in f2p and it got perm banned

Your account got banned because it was F2P. High ass ban rate.

 

Not sure if that's the one but when you quickly send messages on RS some of your messages won't appear. (pretty annoying for legit players who wanna talk tbh)

All F2P accounts...

One facebook linked account (only carries RSGP)
Only 5 I care about (botting little as possible on those)
Another 10 I bot heavily on (One got banned, replaced)
Building another 1000 accounts (5 currently, still putting rigs together) that I could give two shits about (suicide botting 24/7, one, maybe two skills used.)

Before you ask, no I don't have 1000 bots going... I plan to tho. The bot that got banned was in the mining guild... for 48 hours.

Right now I have one bot that's been on Iron ore for 64 hours, no ban.

 

1000 bots will take almost 10 hours to just turn on in each take you 30 seconds on average...

 

Sounds like a full time Job to me.

Anyway, not going to run them all. My Main comp has already handled 16 bots fine, might be able to handle 20 before it becomes unresponsive. I have another comp that could do maybe 30 bots, but it needs a new PSU before I even try to load it up 100% CPU for any amount of time.

If I were to ever have 1000 bots running at the same time, I'd hire a couple people to help me out, lol. I mean I'm creating 1000 accounts (Gameacc001, Gameacc002, Gameacc###, and so on) and getting a few starting starts on them... (IE, IDungeon Free.)

 

just make sure you dont bot f2p and you'll be fine

I was banned for f2p woodcutting as well...

 

I was banned at 89 magic at gate stones there went 1 week of botting :/
meh ill just make another account i dont think jagex will stop me from doing that

 

Like others have stated, F2P users normally always get banned while botting. It's just how everything comes together. The members can bot since they pay a subscription, and the F2P get banned since they're worthless members to the Runescape Community.

 

They're not cracking down, you just shouldn't bot commonly botted areas.
