what happened to the value of your time. I run a quest AIO service and a guy low balled me these quests....

Vampire Slayer
Witches House
Fight Arena
Lost City
I told him I would do vamp slayer and lost city for free but I will charge him 2m. for everything... he told me to drop down to 600k cus that's wut some1 offered him... my gawdd you really gotta be worth nothing like shit... I know theyre easy quests but they still take time to do in total going place to place and doing every single one takes an hour and a half about... I mean gnome village takes 40 minutes ish but shit... is this wut OSRS service has come to.. 600k for 5 quests ive never seen this.. people ruin the service market like this.

 

Some people have quest bots so their "time" is just pressing play on a script which is why they can charge so cheap

 

People do that all the time ... i experience it in my services.

I mean if you play rs3 legit then it might be of value? since 600k 07 = 6m rs3 and it wont take you near 6 hours to do and you couldnt make 1m/hr on rs3 ...

But yeah i would have charged about 2-3m aswell depending on stats/if he gets items.

 

its ridiculous how can u charge 600k OSRS ?? the best part is the buyer doesn't care he just wants cheapest price .... then next thing u know u find him reporting someone for scamming and you wonder why lmao.... wut a joke this site should fix some shit fluxuate prices and all the undercutters shud burn a hole in the head...

What could the site possibly do? How much each person values his or her one is entirely up to them. People will spend an entire hour doing a free middleman trade for the OMM app, and others will skill for free to get vouches.

You're not going to make an actual salary from runescape unless you truly invest all your time into and have some credibility. Just sounds like you're salty that someone undercut you

 

This is really odd. when I used to quest, I would non stop get orders that I couldn't actually complete them all, because I was too busy with other orders. I would charge like $15 for a grandmaster quest.. Sometimes people would give me a list of quests and I would charge as much as $100 lol. Anyway times have changed and it's way more competitive out there. Also people have more time on their hands at this time of the year (no exams ect) so they can either A) do the quest themselves or b) pay someone jack shit to do it for them.

Legitimacy means nothing in questing anymore, unfortunately

 

tbh 1m is about fair for all the quests I am sure I can finish all of them under and a hour or very close as long as the account is reasonable.

 

Playing a video game isn't really 'qualified' work. People pay to play the game, then pay someone else to play the game for them. Pretty ass-backwards.

 

Those quests are easy, but I understand where you're coming from. The amount of time putting into that isn't worth the $1.80(?). I guess if you really enjoyed 07 then it wouldn't be a problem. As Snow said, most people run quest bots which is why people are willing to do services like that so cheap.

Tell him you'll do it hand and it wont be botted. I would rather pay extra money for people who would train my skills/quest by hand than to people who bot them.

It really depends on what you can turn your AIO Questing Service into. I've personally seen in the past some questing services charging really high prices for their time. But it was worth paying because their staff were reputable and they got the job done efficiently.

 

an if u are tristed an have lots of vouches an known people shouldn't low ball but they do just simply say no =p

 

a lot of competition from questers for vouchs and popularity etc also bots

 

the best bots are never public

 

Depends on your credibility I guess. Set a firm price for quests, that way they don't lowball you. My quest crew would easily charge around 3m for all of those quests.
