Sprawl's Flipping Out!

Welcome, this my my flipping log I'll update it each day that I give flip merchanting a shot. I'm reasonably new to flipping and have decided to give it a go due the low specs of my computer not allowing me partake in busy mini-games and the dodgy-ness of my internet connection that likes to disconnect without warning meaning I cannot attempt to PK or Boss Hunt with large risks.

Slow day today, I've been testing items which is why my profits for the day is low. Lost quite a bit just searching for good items to flip. I think I may be doing it wrong. +233,376 GP

Thanks. - No real goals set, just seeing how far I can go. There's a few items in mind that I'd like to buy but I'm not going to think of them a "goals" otherwise I'll get frustrated.

I haven't got any set items as eventually they all end up failing (for me at least) but the few that have been successful are Prayer pots, Dragon Hatchets, Seers' rings, Ranger Boots and to a certain extent Spectral Spirit Shields. You should definitely give it a shot, there's quite a few guides around Sythe and there's a few on Smokinelite.com too (Which I hope I'm allowed to mention..), I just joined up to that site a day or two ago and read a few good guides and lists of good items to flip that people have posted.

 

Good luck with this, interested to see how it turns out. I personally have never had luck flipping, but I wish you the best!

You should post your wealth other way around, nobody reads upwards.
Simply looks like you're failing and the money stack is decreasing.

Well with the dates and the arrow pointing upwards I didn't think it would be a problem. I just thought it would be better because the most recent update would be at the top.

 

Updated. +3,335,375 for today, fair effort I'd say. Debating whether or not to list the Gains/Losses downwards like yaroow suggested or keep them going upwards. Opinions?

could u start posting pictures of proof? I could easy make a thread and write that I am getting 1B/day with flipping.

 

Try merching spirit shards, buy at 22-23 gp in ge, sell at 25 gp to pet stores

 

I know you don't want to tell people your items but maybe a week after you do them post the items ?

 

Well why would I make up flipping 200k-3m a day? :laugh: The thing is if I posted pictures I had to save a hundred pictures daily, and if I was making 1b a day flipping I'd definitely post pictures but for now while I'm making amounts that would sell for less than $2 I really can't be bothered.

My main items at the moment are: Maple logs, Coal, Ranger boots, Robin hats, Dragon hatchets, Seers' rings, Prayer pots and Sara brews but the thing is they don't always work and as my daily profits show they aren't that great.

 

Few f2p items I might try Ty

 

You've just got to get them at the right time, usually you'll only make 1 GP per Maple log or piece of coal but occasionally the profit margin will rise a few GP and if you're buying 10k+ of them at a time you can make a fair bit.
