Okay to say "Fuck the Police" and portray them as stupid pigs
Have pictures of your Weed Grow Room and freely discuss it
Scam ad companies
Promote the asian race, the black race, and mexican race
Discuss Masturbation
Support and sympathy for those who steal
Discuss illegal access to computer systems
Condone underage drinking
Talk bad about stupid Christians
And sympathize with many lawbreakers

But it is not
Ok to talk about muslims, or how stupid jews are
Say something bad about a minority



Anyone have any guesses?

Why is this? Why are we allowed to freely discuss the best way for us to grow weed, but cannot discuss other races? Why can we discuss stealing money from ad companies, and the best companies to steal from? But not discuss black people?

At least I do not discussing stealing or breaking the laws. Consider this an addition to my infraction appeal muthafuckas (Wait probably shouldn't say that. Never mind, we can say it about the police on here, we can say it about anyone, bitch).

Consider teh above not as a complaint about anything, just a comparsion of the hypocritical standards that I see. As far as I know, complaining about hypocrites is not against the rules, as long as the said hypoctrites are not a minority group.

 

We do not promote shoplifting; there was one poll that one kid made asking how many people have done it. Meanwhile, anyone trying to sell stolen items on this site are permanently banned. Where are you getting the support and sympathy from?

This is a forum that welcomes debate, and acknowledges that with a userbase of young teens, sex and drugs are a reality. We try to limit it to intelligent discussions, and allow opinions from both sides. There's nothing here you couldn't find in health class or on TV.

Religion and race are always sensitive topics, but we allow them as long as the opinions are mature and based on an intelligent argument. You're welcome to argue against the existence of God; however, it is not okay to, "talk about how stupid jews are." It is only the belief you can attack; you cannot overgeneralize and attack the people who hold that belief. More simply, bigotry is prohibited.

But yeah, this site does not actually promote any of the things you have said. The users on this site just discuss how they have done some illegal stuff, but they don't condone others to do it.

 

If that article was posted in the spam forum and not the general discussion, I have no doubt that it would have been allowed.

So you see, it's not a matter of Sythe being hypocritical at all. It's a matter of you not using common sense when posting something that is OBVIOUSLY a joke and OBVIOUSLY promotes no discussion, only flaming.

 

I really don't care if everyone discusses everything on my list at all. I just am pointing out that on some forums if you posted pics of ur weed setup the admins would give your ip straight to the cops. I don't condone that, but it would happen on some forums, sadly. Personally, I think it is cool to have a hidden grow room.

And Parodies, mainly, are offensive to some groups. This stems from the journalist rule 'if it isn't controversial, no one will care'. The Onion parodied Shawn Johnson breaking her leg and getting put down, in the exact same format as the article about Barbaro was written.

This irked the response from Animal Rights and Human Rights and Gymnastics people. Politically correct - no. Funny - yes. Taken seriously - no. Thats how I view my Parody, too. The onion is home of hasty generalization and that is what makes it funny. You know that the generalization appliess to some of a group, and not to all. Take me in that same light. Who knows, the next time you read my parody it may be in the onion...

 

I agree to an extent. Free speech is good though isn't it?

Of course it wouldn't. I just don't like that there is free speech to discuss growing your own drugs, but not enough free speech to post a Parody joke. Think, which one would get you arrested if caught?

I have no problems with anything anyone discusses. I give others free speech and leeway, because there will always be a time that I want it back.

I understand that completely and sythe is private and can ban anyone for any reason. That doesn't mean I have to like it and agree with everything that happens. Notice how I was not talking about suing sythe for infringing on my 1st amendment rights. They, effectively, do not apply here, or any other rights that I have.

Only rights on here are what sythe gives me, and I hope he would give me the right to post a parody of an article if he gives the right to others to post a picture of their weed, not that I have anything against that.

I respect you OP.

The only reason is that sometimes it pisses me off that mods post shit that nobody cares about and if someone without a rank posts the same thing they get infracted/banned. Another thing that pisses me off is certain people of power who scam others.
