Donor Lounge - Dicing thread.

So, once again someone gets scammed for a large amount in said thread.

I think it is about time something was done to provide protection for people. I know similar topics have come up in the past but looking forward to seeing peoples suggestions on how to stop it.

I have a few ideas but not sure which would work best:

-People having to prove they have the PP balance/RSGP before rolling. This could easily be done in seconds either using Puu.sh or Gayzo.

-$50+ donors only.

-A maximum wager of $50?

 

There are still going to be scams, it's just like any other section. I could have $500 in paypal, prove I have it and when I lose, just run off. The only way to make it 100% safe would be to have a MM hold the money.

 

Just like any trade, it is up to the dicing parties to protect themselves and only dice with users they trust. There wont be any official means of protection; if you don't want to get scammed just don't dice people you don't trust indefinitely.

 

I absolutely detest every single word of that suggestion.

This is absolutely useless. You can edit paypal balances with "inspect element" in your browser. You can edit cashstacks in paint in about 15 seconds. Just an added annoyance to people who are legitimate without hindering any of the bad guys.

Plenty of legitimate dicers (such as myself) that have not donated $50 to the site. I don't think it'd even cut back on scams, most of them are by reputable people anyway. If a newcomer fag posts no one will dice them.

What's next, you have to be a donator to use the market?

Why? Should we make a maximum trade of $50 in the market section to cut down scams? It doesn't make sense to apply here.

 

Gonna go ahead and deny this. None of that would help.


Simply put, get a MM if you need someone to hold the money.
