Hey jazz whats the difference between mask and normal find bitmap? is the mask more effecient and faster? or a different technique altogether?

 

Masks are for finding objects that aren't rectangular (like bitmaps are).

Then use what we posted. It's almost the same, maybe a bit slower (we are talking milliseconds here, not hours)

change the selected window (I think it uses picture1.hwnd) so use the normal get window from mouse functions

Yeah except when that is used it doesn't work (maybe because you are not using a long?) But yeah, that is the basic gist I am trying to get at.
