Rule Reform: Abolish Perm Signature Violations

This thread has really emphasized the power of a signature. Perma sig bans are too harsh, but honestly, when my sig was too large, I felt like I knew it was and changed it up before anyone noticed. I would agree with a rule change, but a severe exponential punishment should definitely be enforced (6/12months) for the 4th consecutive violation.

It's not fair if you break the rules and then ask for a rule changes, maybe try suggesting a rule change before cramming a sig with 5 banners. Especially when this post is coming from someone who rents other people's sig space, I.e should know the rules better than anyone else.


We're talking about a specific case, yet there are no specifics answering, why are your sigs accidentally too big? You want fair, but don't acknowledge you trying to unfairly advertise and trying to gain an advantage over rule following users.

When you do get warned and are on the verge of such a severe punishment, it's wise to double check your behavior, should be common sense.

Didn't we just come to the conclusion that YOU ALSO broke this rule? We're you infracted? I do mean to be rude with this by the way when I say some people have more important shit to worry about then if something is oversized a couple pixels and in all seriousness who can honestly remember OFF THE TOP OF THEIR HEAD what the size limits are. If you have a premade sig that you've used before and use it thinking your safe but have 2 copies of SLIGHTLY different sizes and use the wrong one, a permanent infraction seems over the top.
