[Already a rule]Rule Fix About Advertising

Hi guys.

Today I would like to suggest a rule fix about advertising. In some sections of the forum, there are
people who will make several different thread titles, but in the end, they are still advertising the
exact same thing in the threads. The reason I would like to suggest this, is because it can be annoying
when you click on a thread in a section, which eventually the main goal is to get you to go to their site
and then you click another one, and it's the same site, multiple times, in the same section.

I understand posting across different sections, for example if you are an account selling/gold trading
website you would want to be able to post at least once in every different section relating to your
website, which is, and should be fine. But this person should not be allowed to make 7 or 8 threads
in one account section, all leading to their site, it's excessive.

I would like to suggest a one website link thread per section unless it's in the market and you're selling several different things in the same section.

Support. That many threads and site links in one section is outright spam.

 

You’re only allowed one thread per section unless it’s in other games, because there are hundreds of other games people sell stuff for so you couldn’t fit it all into one thread

Can you link an example of where you’re seeing this?

 

I made a report for the private server advertising, and a mod took care of it.

Other sections include the 2007 cheating section for all of the bot advertisements, and other places in the forum.

It's been like that for a long time so if that's a rule it's not enforced at all it seems.

 

Totally support, there’s one guy called @eliemixx20 who spam the same section everyday with 3 threads...

I have come to the conclusion that across multiple sections should be ok. If you have the same thread type in all the account sections, sure!

 

This is a rule. Report it. Mods don't catch everything

 

I have recently reported the posts which I have thought would fall under the rule.

Apperantly having 5 or 6 different posts in the same section advertising the same thing is still ok.

I think it should be changed. It's very annoying.

Having multiple threads in any market section with the exception of other games, is already not allowed. Please report anyone you see violating this
