Guide Restrictions

Since the private forum is dead, I'll post here


Restrictions need to be made on guides that are allowed to be verified. As well, the entire "DNS" list needs to completely overhauled. We still have specific TRANSFER methods on there.

My "DNS List" suggestion - Global please contact me when you have free time.. PM etc.

Main reasons for this thread:

Staking guides need to no longer allowed to be sold. There is so many constant PM's with half-assed guides that go "lets double your stake every time your lose then you'll never go negative!" As well, much of the information found in them can be found for free from various sources.

Restrictions should be placed on amount of guides individuals are allowed to attempt to get verified. If one individual PM's an OGV to have a guide verified - and it's denied - more then 2 times in a month, then they shouldn't be allowed to have a guide verified for a set amount of time. (I'm not firm on the amount of guides and the amount of time between them so feel free to throw some suggestions out there.)

 

I agree with both suggestion one and suggestion two. However I think that more then just staking guides shouldn't be allowed to be sold. There are so many duplicate guides and methods being sold. I think that guides looking to get verified that are similar methods or concept to already verified guides should only be verified if the method and quality of the guide is better then the other guides and that the guides not as good would ve removed.

I also agree that the DNS list needs to be updated, considering the amount of leaked or common knowledge guides that people are trying to sell.

It would be nice to see a few steps taken to make that section less-dead.

Yea, those "Win 90% of the time" or "win 100% of the time" or "never lose gp" staking guides are shit.
And are ALL the same, but 10+ people are selling.
