    How to PortForward Linksys WRT54G

    How To PortForward.​


    Hello everyone, today im going to teach you how to PortForward.
    In this Guide, im going to show you guys how to PortForward an Linksys WRTG54 Router.

    NOTE: You don't need to PortForward if you are using an Modem!

    FAQ:
    For what can i use "PortForwarding" ?
    PortForwarding can be used for Game Servers. If you PortForward, your Router will be open the Port for the Game server or for something else what you need to have PortForwarded.

    What is "PortForwarding" ?
    Let's Get Started!​

    Well, first we need to know your IP Adress.
    Click on "Start", then click on "Run".

    A new Windows could open, type in: "cmd". After that click on "OK" or press "Enter".

    A new windows could Popup, now you must type: "ipconfig /all"
    Now note your IP Adress:

    Once you've noted it, start up Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox.
    Type in your IP Adress.
    You will be connected to your Router now. A new Window could pop-up:

    Your default username and passwords are: admin, for both.
    Or if you have an modified username and password login with that.

    Now it could look like this:

    Click on "Applications & Gaming".
    [​IMG]

    Put in the Port that you want have to be PortForwarded.
    Note: 43594 = MoparScape servers.
    Save and you are done!
