How to use PiD to stake

For some reason someone is selling a PiD guide, despite the fact that this is available free on youtube. Really OGV, you guys approved that? It's a free guide. It's on youtube. Most of rs stakers know it already.

Whatever.

Anyway, here's what PiD is and how you use it.

When you log into runescape, the game assigns you a "PiD", aka a player ID. This number ranges from 1-2000 depending on how many people are in your world when you log in.

In a duel, when 2 players fight, one of them will get the first hit, assuming no lag. In a few rare circumstances, both players will hit simultaneously, but we'll ignore those. If your PiD is lower than your opponent's, you will get first hit in duels, and for mage boxes and other styles, this is quite useful.

To get a lower PiD, what you can do is this:

1. Grab a friend and both log into the world you want to stake in (usually 54).

2. Follow your friend and have him move one step in any direction. If you notice a 1-second delay between the time he moves and the time it takes you to move to his old square, then you have a worse PiD and you need to log out to the lobby and log back in.

3. Repeat step 2 until you notice no lag when you follow your friend. Now have your friend do step 2 until he notices no lag.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you are happy with your PiD. Usually this will be after 2-5 iterations but you can stop at any time.

And that's how you successfully PiD!

Is there a lot of support that PiD actually makes that much of a difference staking.

It's one of those things that's easy enough to do and you're at a disadvantage if you don't have it, so you might as well. It adds about a 2-4% edge for melee boxing and 8-10% for mage.

There are other factors that make a difference that I'm not sharing, and I'm not even sharing all there is to know about PiD. But it does make a difference and I would say 9/10 high stakers, especially mage boxers, are pretty OCD about PiD
