Gold farming is about the safest method out there, unfortunately it takes a while, expect at least 6 hrs per mill.
1m-4m = $1.25 per mill
5m-9m = $1.20 per mill
10m+ = $1.15 per mill

Fast gold (safe, kinda slow method used) (2 mill minimum)
2m-6m = $2.10 per mill (no more then 8 hrs total)
10m = $2.05 per mill (no more then 11 hrs total)
15m = $2.00 per mill (no more then 20 hrs total)
