Opening A Gold Shop

Hey guys,

So I am hoping to open a gold shop as I like minimalizing the amount of gold I have on my own account, which will also give me done extra cash for food, bud, gf etc.

So:
1. How hard is it? I have read ask the stickies and visited some threads but it didn't really give me a sense if how much I must invest into it.
2. How big is the market? Should I just make a website and up a vpn and make a gold shop?? How many actual legitimate buyers are there?
3. How secure is it? I've read about playerauctions but the time for refunds and how it demands a lot of personal info. What are alternatives?

 

It's not hard, market depends on how trusted you are and your prices mostly.

Secure... not really, Paypal is insecure as shit. Setting up a website with maxmind anti-fraud can help you save some real cash.

PA is a really good option.

 

Ahh I figured. Does that mean most members won't have business unless they are trusted? Lol trust seems so intangible on sythe. How would one gain trust if he starts at 0 and no one wishes to do business with him? Also yeah, but assuming I attempt a legitimate business with invested security etc it would only be cost effective if I had the time needed to achieve the profit of supporting the business and I don't have all that much. Should I open a shop anyways and hopr someone may buy from me, even though they most likely will be a scammer hoping to take advantage of my leecher status? Also that means that all prices will be proportional the amount of trust a seller has..doesn't really seem like an efficient market.

Sorry if that may seem disrespectful. Tldr, how do I gain trust to become a seller that will even be considered by legitimate buyers?

 

Well first before you go all out and big with it I think you should start off with some small trades till you get atleast 50-60 something vouches from gold trading, try to do some big trading using Mm and OMM so at least we know you really have gold and can be trusted. I suggest once you get a lot of vouches donate a bit maybe 100 $ or so, so people understand you are willing to give back to the site, become a free MM so your name can get around the sire do a bit of MMing get about 100+ vouches then start up a thread youll be known and people might have trust in you, I advise you dont use paypal but use some other alternstive
