RSCEmulation is a Classic private server founded by Luke Leary aka Kryptix on August 30, 2009.

Luke Leary passed away June 13, 2012. He will be missed, RIP.

The source code originally started life as RSCDaemon, a project that eXemplar, Sean and Philodespotos contributed to but unfortunately never got to a state that would be considered playable. Reines decided to pick up from where they had left off and turn it into an actual private server similar to RSCEmulation. After a good run JAGeX shut RSCDaemon down, the source code got leaked and mass private servers were born. Since then the source code has been drastically modified, improved and developed further to turn it into what you know as RSCEmulation.

RSCEmulation is proud to be hosted by Black Lotus, Dedicated DDOS Protected Servers.

RSCEmulation is the longest running, most populated RuneScape Classic Private Server. It is maintained by a very dedicated staff team whom host events and put out updates regularly.

We have been up and running over four years now and have over 50,000 registered users
Our average population online is between 150-200 players and we're hoping to see 300 online at a time.

We have a very active pking scene that ranges from all levels.
Our staking scene is also very active and the economy is great.
All our f2p quests are fully functional and p2p quests will be released soon.

The XP rate is set at 8x the original RSC rate when you're out of the wilderness and 11x when you're in the wilderness. This increases to 13x and 16x if your account is subscribed. All combat related skills receive double XP.

We have lots of new features that were not included in the original RSC.
There are new portals to bring you around the map faster and event only areas that our staff utilizes daily.
New skills such as rune crafting which no other RSC private server has had before
We also hold daily lotteries which allow players to buy into the lottery pool and have a chance of winning a large sum of in-game currency.
