RSBot vs. JMacro

Which is better? Or is another free bot better?

 

RSBot FTW. Ive been using it for 2 months, no problems. Check out the RSBot thread.

 

My understanding is that Jmacro isn't being developed anymore

 

dang i cant use either cuz i have a mac. even though my friend uses rsbot
loks pretty col =)
so id have to say rsbot better then jmacro
plus i cant find anywhere to get it

 

Can someone please explain how to run Rsbot? As i have known this bot for a couple of months, though i have failed to run this many times. =/

SCAR/SRL is becoming the best, and will be the best by far in a few weeks. Recently, reflection has been made to work with SMART (Scar Minimizing Autoing Resource Thing), making it just as good as any other reflection bot. Only two things that will change in the next few weeks -

1) Reflection for SMART is still in its BETA stages
2) There aren't many scripts using reflection yet

So now, SCAR/SRL is both a color and reflection bot/macro. Colors don't break (unless, of course, Jagex changes the colors of stuff, which happens really rarely), whereas reflection breaks often (As far as I know), and has to be fixed.

- Not that efficient
+ Rarely breaks

Reflection

+ Very efficient
- Breaks often

Color + Reflection

++ Extremely efficient (if reflection fails, color does what reflection failed to do)
++ Very rarely breaks

SMART is basically RSBot's client, without all of the ID debugging (which will probably be added to SRL eventually) + the FPS bar (RSBot has a Use Less CPU option, but the FPS bar lets you set exactly how much you want), and there may be some other features RSBot's client has, I haven't used it much. And SRL has multi-player (like you can have a player go for 10 mins, then switch to another, and then another, and then start all over again). I've heard RSBot will be getting that feature soon though.
