Swapping runescape usernames

I have one account that has a name I want on my higher level account. How do I swap usernames? Both accounts have original names.

 

I'd say switch the old ones name, then move the new ones name to the old name? It will be a display not account name though.

So.

Account 1 -> Changes nick to something you don't want.
Account 2 -> Changes nick to original Account 1's name.

It will be your display name then.

 

There's a 1 - 4 month waiting period, though. How do I get around that.

 

Well if there is a waiting period, you musn't be able to. I guess you have to just wait it out.

No... I know there's a way to do it... Which is why I asked

 

I heard that you could change your name to something offensive so that jagex will change it to something else and then you could take that original name on your other account..

I'm not sure if this works or if this has ever worked.. I heard it on sythe many months ago. Don't try unless you're very desperate and are willing to be muted

 

you can't change your name to anything that is already being used to login to another account.

Meaning you can't swap the account's names. You might be able to change a letter to a number though like an O to a 0 but it'll look funny.

Account 2 ( with the good name ) --> (via pin)any name --> (via ANOTHER pin) any name
Note: It's going to take one month for you to change the name for Account 2 the second time.
