RSBot replacement?

[levelninehundred]

I probably sound like an idiot.

Well, as you all know-RSBot is down.

Though, I feel a tad bit empty without a bot.

Are there any decent replacements?

Preferably one with a Pest Control script?

[itsallaboutfriends]

RSbot will be up soon. DW =]

[levelninehundred]

Oh yey.

Any clue on how soon?

Days, weeks, months?

[ssylass]

rsbot isnt down.
all 3 of my bots are running fine.

[levelninehundred]

Then why am I getting "error_game_js5connect_outofdate"?

[ssylass]

did you even download the update?... it came out like 3-4 days ago
whenw as the last time you ran rsbot?

[Benwise]

Use the SVN updater. You can update the bot, and continue to bot as you wish.

Best of luck, sir.

[levelninehundred]

Could someone send me a Rapidshare link for the update? =3

[ssylass]

its under the rsbot 1 section of rsbot forums.. go look yourself.. its the first thread.

[levelninehundred]

Book mark that ^.

Everytime RsBot updates, it'll be uploaded to Rapidshare. That's Qauters' (Co-writer of rsbot) rapidshare.

[Jimmy]

You guys are so funny!

RSBot is perfectly fine. Whenever RuneScape updates, Qauters needs to re-hook the new files. All the other aspects of RSBot are perfectly fine.

To update RSBot
1) Delete rs.jar
2) Download the latest rs.jar from: http://rsbotsvn.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/rs.jar

If you still get the error, then Qauters hasn't updated it yet in which case you must be patient.
