Any way to appeal to Jag's soft side anymore?

    Here's a few disclaimer's:
    - This is regarding a permanent RS3 ban
    - Yes it was my fault, yes I accept it, no excuses. However that doesn't mean that I don't want to change it.
    - If you've got useless comments - you know exactly where to stick them, my friend.

Soo.. The other month I logged back into RS3 after a long, long break (years, probably since bot nuke, what was that, 2011? 2012?)
Anywhoo.. Old habits die hard, I used to bot a little on the account.. When I logged back in I had little idea just how mad Jagex had gotten about getting rid of botting for good. I was around for bot nuke, but at that point I'd quit, blocked everything RS out and never took the time to check on RS. (performance issues more than anything, Bot Nuke updates killed the FPS on the ol' Toshiba)

When I came back to RS in 2016, well I was still a little impatient.. I was a little impatient and didn't really know how Jagex's bot software had progressed, thought surely after all this time after their attempt at "nuking" the bots the smart bot devs would've cracked it. In May I believe I recieved a Macro Major perm ban.

    A few things now:
    * Jagex removed the Appeal option for permanent bans.
    * Jagex has written that they will delete and ignore emails (if you can find an email even, I can't find an appropriate jagex dept. email that'd even handle anything close to bans), also tweets, threads and whatnot regarding bans, instead contact users they identify have been hijacked at the time of ban.

But considering that there is a history of users appealing to Jagex's mercy, and getting unbanned through emailing (can't find what email these people would've contacted, it's nowhere on the Jag or RS website)
My question .. Is there still a way to appeal to Jagex's mercy at this point? Whatever anyone thinks, even if it's my fault it really is worth a shot. How would you even go about it? Something last ditch, last hope like calling them during office hours and appealing to whoever's on the other end an option? Any other options at this point?

    Cheers
Reminder before you leave a reply:
    - Useless comments "herr ur fault shuldnt ov dun it aye" will be ignored, or at the very least I will leave a short and blunt "Fuck you" reply.

No. They aren't going to be lenient. And it's silly to think otherwise; that's the sad truth. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.

Unless you were hijacked and they think you deserve it you're shit out of luck.

No use in even trying if you botted yourself

Jagex probably wont read emails, your best bet is to tweet at one/few of their support team.

But dont get your hopes up, if they do take the time to look into it and see that there isnt anything that looks like a hijack, then they'll leave you banned with a nice "soz". So unless you played legit for a long time on a certain IP and then suddenly changed IP's and botted, you probably arent gonna get unbanned but gl tho :p

There's no mercy when it comes to botting. First offence is a short ban & second offence is an automatic perm ban. Make a mistake once, sure, a little breathing room. Make the same mistake a second time? SOL. Sorry man.

You can try your luck on Twitter but they'll most likely tell you there is no way to reverse the ban.

Hmmm I mean there was a big gap from 2011 to 2016 where I didn't log in.. Surely my I.P changed by then.
Pretty sure I had to change my pass when I logged in, in 2016 too, don't think I remembered what I set it as.

I did buy membership with my PP account tho..

I've read somewhere that only 1% of the accounts get unbanned from botting because they were actually hijacked. So meaning at the time they think you were botting you would of had to be playing on a totally diff ip than your home ip.

Unless you have proof that the account was hijacked (which isn't the case) I believe it is near impossible to get away from a perm botting ban.

I doubt it, if you break the rules these days you're pretty much screwed.
