RS2007 Not That Exciting Anymore?

I used to play Runescape since 2004 so I was really stoked to hear RS2007 is coming back. But now that its finally here I don't even know if ill be playing it. I mean, what am I going to be doing? Clicking on a rock all day? I'm not a kid anymore and I attend University so I don't even have that much spare time to play. I think I may just wait till bots are out and bot till ive got a good account then pk whenever I get time. I know most of the old school players are adults now and I was wondering if you guys felt the same way as I do or is it just me?

 

I kind of feel the same way. I was excited right when they launched it this morning, but had to stop due to other priorities. I'm in college as well.

same thing, I'm not 14 anymore, cant play like I use to. Still excited for it though 6 months down the road when its more off the ground.

 

I dont have the time i once had to dedicate to the game, but i definitely plan on playing it for nostalgia purposes, especially the pking factor.

I'm playing it. It's hard to figure out what you want to do. I'm fishing. I want to get thieving though.

 

Yeah im having the same issue, i cant really decide what to work on.

 

I'm not going to be here 6 months down the road when its set up I was excited but not that much anymore

 

I'm a skiller so it's going to be annoying to get feathers. But like. I could thieve. I could hunt. I could fish. I could WC. The hell do I want to do? Something that won't require inputs because buying those materials will be a pain. But idk.

 

Many of my friends already started, will be fun when I start.

 

I have to disagree. Im currently doing my final year engineering, and damn it feels good to click on them rocks. So ill make time for this.

 

I like the simplicity of it...

You can have too much of something and ruin something great.

I'm in first year civil engineering and I cant even find much time to play, idk how you do it. Specially because Runescape is a game that you have to play for long to get good.

 

Happens the same to me. I wish I was an irresponsible kid again who would spend his entire day infront of a computer however I got college + work now :/

 

That's true but the joy of wasting time is so much fun.

 

Im a culinary major switching to chemistry/linguistics so i understand the time constraint but i love oldschool too much to not play

 

So do you start with the skills you had circa 2007? i dont understand
