94-99 Barraging

I am considering barraging to 99 mage from 94-99.

I was wondering..
How many spells would i need to cast to get to 99?
It is about 3k per cast, so that's 3 mill per 1k spells cast.

 

You've already essentially figured it out yourself. Presuming you have 10M exp already you need another 3M= 1k spells

I'm pretty sure it depends on the damage you do? There is probably a base EXP for casting the spell, then you get EXP depending on the damage you do.. so there is no telling how many casts it will take. Your best bet is to just buy a few thousand casts at a time, and gradually do it. Either that, or get a rough estimate of EXP/h + how many casts you use per hour at your chosen monster to barrage, then calculate it using that.

 

I need to know how much exp i will get per hour and how many spells i can cast per hour...

Skill calculator is useless..
They say 100k barrage spells to 99 from 94 which is 300M.
They only show base exp.

i need to know the average exp i will get per 1k casts.

So like 200K-250K EXP/hr.

Well, if you use battle robes and staff of light it severely cuts the price.

I ice bursted to 99 mage from 82 back in the day. Wasn't cheap but was epic HP exp.

If you're calculation is correct then he need like 12k casts. 12k casts is about 36m. I think this is not that expensive (if you have like 300m+ total cash).
