Best 2007 Pure?

I'm working on a pure, I'm not sure what kind of pure to make yet. I am thinking a gmaul range pure but I'm not positive yet. Any suggestions?

 

it all depends on what you like and who you want to murder.
I love the style of a berserker pure. The upside of a rune pure is you can occasionally find people in higher wilderness(where i like to be) who are wearing more expensive gear which generally takes higher defence level. Those people are very easily disposed of. On the downside, a rune pure takes alot of hard work, especially on questing& you also risk alot.

If you've never made a pure before, definetly go one defence. They're easy to manage, can still be sustainable without a main, and very low risk. 1 defence pking helps alot when learning the tactics to pking. Losing full rune can get old in a heart beat.

If i was the one to decide the destiny of your account, i'd say gmaul range pure just like you decided, the trick would be to have equal range and strength levels. By the time your ready to pk gmaul prices will drop. Run law runes on world 336 to get you started financially.

 

Yah, I'd have to agree with him. One defense pure using range to granite maul.

 

It's all about personal preference. GMaul range is very easy to start off with, dds/blitz is probably more fun.

Keep it 1 defense because you can choose to transition it in to 20/45 defense later.

 

In the 2007 era zerkers will rock any pure once your maxed. The questing aspect isn't even that bad, do it once and get it over with. You'll love 45 def, you can do everything a main can and still maintain a "pure".

 

This is my theory, i don't mind the questing at all. It's like a refreshment on the storyline to me. Most people despise it, but andrew is exactly right. Runecrafting is very very very profitable if you don't find it tedious and boring.(which most do)

((I runecraft through the abyss usually listening to techno music and trippin mushrooms, i craft like 25k nats while having the time of my friggin life)

 

It's all about the the time and dedication you are willing to commit. I personally recommend str pure w/ 1 def, because this allows you to get into the rhythm of pking, and if you dont like it, you can become an initiate pure, zerker pure, or rune pure.

I'd make a 1def pure with 60 attack & high strength, then stake!

 

1 def high range mage str atk hp, easy as that

 

I personally prefer a hybrid, makes pking more exciting - dds blitz, range dds, range gmaul, scim dds.. You have more options as to what combinations you want to use. But in terms of effectiveness I believe gmaul pure would be the best.

 

runeknife/cbow (75+ range)
obbysword/obbymaul +dds/gmaul (60att/80+ str)
range/gmaul (70 range + 75 str)

Either a 60 attack pure or Zerker

 

I've currently got a Zerker - trust me I'm having the time of my life.

I have torso, barrows gloves, rune defender, currently training to 70 range to finish fire cape and then I just have training left to do.

In my opinion Zerkers are such an amazing build.
