RS or WOW?

Which one is your favorite, and why?

 

rs cause wow is too cartoony and rs is less involved and there is no 40 year old who play it. my friends dad plays wow with his buddies.....

alot cheaper to play, good comunity and is very fun =)

 

wow graphics murder rs graphics tho, it is true wow is cartoony :S

 

My friends uncle plays runescape, he's 46. And I'm sure there are other older people who play it.

WoW is x10000 better. RS is just cheaper, more simple, can browse internet while playing (without having to alt+tab out), etc.

WoW can be a hassle. You have to install it on every computer you wish to play, etc, etc.

Oh, and jagex can keep adding all the little useless updates they want. This game won't ever come close to WoW.

 

I rather play with old people then kids any day.

Aren't you guys tired of kids calling you "Blah blah kid" "GG kid" "you fail kid" in runescape when they are kids...

I played WoW for about a year. And i will tell you this, it is way better then runescape because it is more organized, unlike runescape where you will mostly be playing by yourself (Doing quest by yourself, pking by yourself etc). WoW you NEED to be with other players in order to get any good at the game. And it just makes it more fun.

I admit there some old people in the game. But when i was playing the game, they were the people who are really good at the game because they are able to lead groups into raids, know a lot of strategy to beat certain bosses and get threw raids, and are people who demands players to be in vent in order to have a good organized group.

Although i did quit WoW because runescape was my very first game i ever played and you just can't get away from that, i definetly think WoW is a bad ass game.

And the only people who hate on WoW are people who can't be smart enough to get past raids and learn strategys to be good at a game. This game is not for players who are to addicted into left mouse clicking maybe once in a while right mouse clicking.

 

They are both great games, however Blizzard seems to listen to their customers more.

 

Are you sure?My entire list is full of people 20+ of age,including older then 40.

And yet rs has more subscriptions then wow ..

 

That means nothing in terms of which game is better.

 

^ Actually.. Amount of subscriptions DIRECTLY corresponds to how good the game is..

Availability is RuneScape's strong point.. The game is generally balanced and supports every aspect of grouping/solo without being forced into one or the other.

World of Warcraft on the other hand is a huge hassle to play, is often offline for a whole day of the week AND is INCREDIBLY imbalanced. Another poor feature of the game is that you can only progress through one of each raid a week. Once you reach a point in your gear (That really isn't that hard to achieve) you'll only be able to progress in in content once a week, whereas RuneScape has pretty much infinite room for progression.

The game of choice is OPINION. Too bad most of the people posting here have downs and will attack other people for their taste.

i like wow as friend pays for membership for me, and is fun annoying ppl raiding on their vent channel.

but runescape is just fun... :/

Wrong. WoW has less subscriptions because it's only 1 subscriptions per person. Runescape you can have several subscriptions in order to play several characters. WoW is 1 subscription for several characters.

 

Also the fact that runescape subscription is cheaper then WoW, will of course increase runescape popularity.

And Morally Skilled i do agree with you in the fact that WoW lacks a lot by only giving players 1 raid a week.

But have you ever done the new raids? Me and my guild have spend WEEKS in trying to complete the entire raids. Every day i play, we attempt to progess one boss at a time. And every new boss we have to progress on, it literally takes hours to complete.

Also there is about 5 - 6 high level raids. Out of those are about 3 major raids. Each one of those major raids will take atleast 2 hours to fully complete if your guild is skill enough to progress with little to no failures.

 

Alright, so if I offer a cleaning service, I charge $5/H. My opponent, "John's Cleaning Service", charges $200/H.

I don't clean at all, I steal your shit and piss on the floor. 5 people use me.

John's Cleaning Service does an amazing job cleaning, everythings dusted/scrubed. Only one person used John's Cleaning Service.

I clearly don't have a better cleaning service.

I plated WoW for the first time a few days ago and it just didn't click with me.
Apart from the mounts In my opinion rs beats it in every way
