[ACCEPTED] RS Names Trading Sub-Market

I would like to simply see the Name Market community have our own Sub-Market .
Even though the community itself isn't too big I do beleive we should have our own.

Currently we are kind of hidden behind the RS Items trading Market seen below.

The rs items market itself is extremely dead, I've also asked @QBD and he mentioned that barely anyone trades items beside RS3 Rares (Masks/Phats/pumpkins/Eggs etc..)


I'm not asking to remove items trading, but simply the name market to have its own Sub-Market.
Items market are having 1-3 people at a time watching which are probably only the Owner of threads. While I've seen the name market @ 35+ people watching at peak times.


Exemple seen below. (Early in the morning, usually is at 25-30 people watching)

I'm amazed at the amount of people on Runescape that completely have no idea that this market even exist, this could deffinitely help a bit to get it seen a little more and I'm sure wouldn't be too much work to make

Simply want it removed from the RS item market since item market is extremely dead and Name Market IMO should have its own since its pretty active.

 

The item market wouldn't have enough traffic to warrant it being its own sub-market, so i'd be against separating them. Will ultimately just clutter the front page imo.

But then why would RS items have their own Sub-market, or even deadman, both never have anyone going on there beside Owner of threads which even themselves said there is no traffic at all ?

Theres also tons of sub-markets that never has anyone on there like fifa/dota/world of warcraft, Sythe is Mostly RS related, could simply have one of those games removed and Add 1 spot for the name market to actually prioritize the game sythe has grown from imo?

 

Personally I'd remove Rs3/OSRS item trading sections instead of making it a submarket. It's literally the same as buying/selling GP as RS3 Partyhats and people do that in the buying/selling gp section too. It's a duplicate but more useless thread. Also it's quite dead.

Name Market deserves it's own section so newcomers can find it. I can see multiple subcategories spawning out of it like transfer services too. It's also annoying going through the item trading section to go to the name trading section because the way it is now makes it relatively hidden.

Most people that don't trade names would feel indifferent but it's the only reason why many others and I use Sythe. I also feel the same as Alexandre after participating in this community for quite a bit.

Full support, it would suck to prioritize a dead item trading section over the possibly growing name sub-community. Having it hidden will kill it further over time.

Name sales mkt seems far more active than the rs07/rs3 subsections. Wouldnt be opposed to it having its own name sales parent forum, and a subsequent subforum for transfers.

If it doesnt pan out, it can always be reverted.

The easier it is for people to access the section the better, I think just removing both item exchange markets and only having the names one would be adequate

I'm not personally a name seller or buyer at that, but I do see a lot of people doing trades to do with it.

Support, RS Name sells have been very popular on sythe i believe it should have its own section!

Support, I had asked a few mods why there isn't already a subsection for how active Name Sales are, and they said it can be reached from the front page which is technically true, but it is extremely small and for some reason Item Sales are preferred. (Higher up, and it Reads "Item and Name Sales." Small thing but odd.) Most newcomers on the site would glance over it pretty easily. Although yes Name Sales has its own little spot, I don't think it is quite visible enough on the front page and I would welcome a change.

What Alex said was correct. There are many other games that have 0-3 people watching them max, that all get their spot, and I get that Name Sales is a subsection of the different Runescape Markets, but Sythe is undoubtedly mainly for Runescape and therefore I believe it is only fair to make this addition. Runescape Name Sales only TRULY exists on Sythe, where many other websites have Gold/Services/Accounts. I truly believe Name Sales IS Sythe in a sense, every other website that has a Name Sales section is beyond dead. So why not?

Option 1: Since item market is dead i'd say remove the item sales from the forums, and just make it a subforum for name sales.

Nobody is trading items anymore apart from rs3 rares.

Option 2: If users really want the item sales subforum to stay, just add a extra subforum for names and remove it from the item sales subforum.

would be willing to see if the category can be changed to names sales and items rather than items and names. Dont think it needs it own category but def needs to get better exposure. If its between getting a section and not getting one i would vote for is own section though.
