Suggestion for Runescape users?

Just had a funny little thought going through my head here

Many of you probably know about those little Merchanting clans that go along every now and again and buy a specific item en mass to force the price up, then re-sell later for a profit, right? Virtually all of these clans exist publically so anyone can join, making these clans annoyingly unorganised and leaving less supply for players to buy, meaning that most of the participants end up losing out, right?

I had an idea about possibly making a Sythe merchanting thread, rather than a clan. This way people would be able to see the thread + item in a more hidden fashion than advertising it blatantly over the G.E Sure, it's less people to buy, but I figure with the amount of RS players on Sythe it cant be that bad an Idea? ^_^

This is has been tried several times and I don't think it'll work this time. There isn't enough net GP with the active members of this sub-forum.

 

Many people have stated they would start a private merching clan over Sythe, i have yet to see one of them start though, id like to join.

 

I suggest you use the search function and search Merchanting Clans on Sythe....you'll find numerous posts made by members here suggesting a new clan just for Sythe users. It gets shot down since the trust level is low here and merchanting clans should die...

 

Tbh I dislike merching and merchenters now a days

 

i would start the clan but i have no idea how to see when to invest in an item =/

 

What i'm currently doing is buying a ton of this item thats worth 2 GP each, once i get 10M of the item i'm going to manipulate them to 10 GP Each.

Then I will buy crashing items with them OR, i'll lend them off ect, i'm good with junk.

The limit for this item is 10k / 4 hours so 10M will take a while, even tho im using 3 accounts.

 

That's "manupilating' prices, which is not real merchanting. People need to get that merchant clans do this.

 

It's easier to just join a merching clan and following their simple directions.

 

So many times has this idea been suggested...they usually die out within a week. But...i'll join if we get enough members
