Why did rs go down? Did they try to catch botter? Its back up

 

Because of the Citadel update.

Edit: But I think something else happened when they tried to update, there was an error, hence the servers crashed.

no i don't think so. if you use good bots it's not easy to be sure that you actually bot. also most part of runescape are bots so why would they ban them? they gain a lot of money thx to bots so they will never ban every bot on runescape if you ask me.

 

It's not all one big conspiracy. Servers have a tendency to crash, be it for a power outage or poor maintenance or some other reason.
