Is botting/selling RS accounts illegal?

Okay then guys I am not sure if this is in the right part of the forum or not but basically I would like to know if botting and selling runescape accounts in the Uk is illegal? As recently I have read about some things about possible lawsuits and so on the internet. My friends have also been telling me it is illegal so thanks for the responses in advance .

I know it is against the term of service but not sure if this would make it illegal?

 

you would never get a criminal offence, although botting accounts and selling accounts is against the rules the only action I have ever heard of is bans on runescape, and Jagexing making law suits against the bot makers, so I think you're pretty good to go ahead and bot/sell accounts

No botting or selling accounts is not illegal at all...
Do you really think a court would prosecute for using a macro to play a video game?
It's against Jagex/Runescape rules but that's all.
