Updated information on XP Rollbacks - LEAKED!

This is a recent post in the RS Moderator's forum, screengrabbed and posted on another site. This basically proves that the resets were intentional. Read every post.

roll back happened to me. was 99 att 98 str 98 def 98 hp. Jagex rolled me back to 10 28 10 19. They knew i was botting and probably just waited till i was almost completely maxed out. lucky i was able to keep the 300m. been 3+ weeks and no ban. gonna bot again but take it easy.

 

Very interesting, I always thought it was because off Botting they got rolled back though haha Jagex thinking off there Money typical.

 

...Did you even read it?

Macroing = Botting.

Almost everybody knew that this was Jagex just messing with us.

That whole this is a 'glitch/corrupt macro' was a load of shi.

Yes i did read it all the way through the whole lot actually, I no what Macroing/Botting are the exact same thing....
But the reason for them not dishing out straight bans is because they want money from Membership, That's why i said there thinking off the money aspect off it all typical?

 

I knew that they roll back stats but items??? some one of roll backed botters have lost some items ?

They weren't removing wealth but of course to let legit players happy they had to say it otherwise people would rage saying JaGex only helps botters doing this.

 

Nice to see a higher-up JMod still hasn't took the time to learn grammar.

Anyhow, the bit about making items non-equippable is false. I had my main rolled back in Cooking a few months ago, and I can still wield the Barrows Gloves I have on it. Maybe it's like that for fire capes and such, but not all items.

Interesting to see this, though. It explains why the bug report accounts got banned. The mods who weren't "in the know" about this looked at the accounts to find a bug, but they instead found overwhelming evidence for macroing.


Also, I've never seen a GP rollback. Does this actually happen? I get my sorc garden accounts rolled back occasionally, and I still keep the GP

 

They haven't used GP rollbacks yet, because they gave the information now free for the P-mods they are going to use gp rollbacks also.

I have had a few accounts rolled back, but that was just stats. Hopefully they don't start GP rollbacks.

 

i think thats part of the "i hope the botters dont bot anymore because we really dont have the time to do this to everybody" thing..
and im pretty sure we can get around this by lending items and not claiming them/items in the ge

This is a good thing? so now we only lose levels not the whole account if we get caught botting..

Still, I'm nervous that my skiller will get rollbacked, 99.9% botted, would be a shame to lose it now :/

 

Ye some people with cooking capes and stuff don't mind these rollbacks but i would hate for my crafting or smithing cape to be rolled back that's 150m id have to bot back again
