WTF is wrong with rs?

So today i wanted to change my pass and it says it doesnt match our records... i can login ingame with it etc.
First the adventure logs now this wtf?

 

Jagex's servers have probably gone out of sync. There was a big multi-world crash a few days ago and it probably took out one of the password servers too.

Huh? If you want to sell account, you don't have to change password.

It's would be buyers problam not yours.

 

Runescape doesn't crash a lot, this is the first major one in years. Server reliability is one of their, if not their only strong point.
