what's the difference...

what's the difference between a game card and a runescape pin ? someone tell me pl0x i get really confused haha.

 

Gamecards are codes that you can buy in the shops on like a gift card. A pin (not allowed anymore, called upgrades ) is from a phone/mobile, where the person has sent from their phone.

Advantages of Gamecards

• Can be bought nearly anywhere that's a good retailer
• Can't be chargedback
• Sometimes give special items

Disadvantages of Gamecards

• Expensive
• Looks really nerdy when you buy them in the shop, some members have made claims of abuse/jokes by staff

Advantages of SMS/PBP

• Extremely Cheap
• Can be bought in bulk on sythe a lot easier

Disadvantages of SMS/PBP

• Can be chargedback, leaving you in negative jCoin balance
• Can be stolen or obtained illegally
• Give 30 days membership, gamecards give 35

so you can let people on your account, in which they may use a pin without your knowledge/permission? or... are both not allowed? haha.
