why does my CPU % change when doing same tasks?

I am not sure if this is the right section for this question but i think it would be


so my question is:

how come when i do multiple tasks my cpu usage will stay around 45% or below, but then another time when i do the EXACT SAME tasks, it will use up to like 90% and will go slower?



what would cause the big change if i am doing the EXACT SAME tasks?

 

Umm, what exactly are you doing, could it be something that does stuff in the background? Like stuff that you can not see? Open up task manager and look at all of the running processes (not programs) and order them by memory, post back the ones that are high, and what processor are you using?

 

botting is what i am talking about primarily. and i run the exact same bots in the exact same place every time.

sometimes the bots lag and i can only run like 3 at once...then sometimes it runs perfect and hardly uses cpu and i can run like 5 or 6. i dont get it.

i have looked at processes and resource monitor, etc. and there is still nothing that explains the jump in cpu from one time to another

 

There are so many variables that could come into play that it's almost impossible to tell you without using your computer firsthand.
