Router help.

Okay so basically. I'll be doing something on my computer and my router just shuts its internet connection off. I know its my router because I'ts still on but the 2 lights that indicate that its sending signals is off and the 2 that indicate its plugged in and on are on :/ i noticed this only seems to happen when im on msn?

 

You can do two things:

1. Reset your whole router by taking out the cord and waiting a couple minutes before putting it back in.

2. You should call your Internet provider. They'll most likely help with any router problem. They'll do all sorts of stuff to it to make it better.

 

I would first try unplugging your modem and router, plugging in your modem, then your router after the modem has completely reset.

If that doesn't work, attempt to restore the router to its factory defaults.
