Road to Diamond 5 Thread [Log]

[Otoya Takechi]

Good luck man, hope you can reach that goal.

[Direchampion]

Almost there!

Good luck Sypherz. A question though. On rumble you get haunting guise but don't finish liandrys, at least not first. Why don't you finish it?

Not Sypherz but i'll try answering this question.

In general, haunting guise is a great early game item but liandrys is not. It's ability is rather lackluster so there are more important items to get first, such as rylai's.

Personally, I usually hold off on upgrading to liandrys until I have everything else built. Even then, I sometimes sell liandrys purely because there may be better options.

[Sypherz]

Yah, pretty much what dire said.

Haunting Guise is a disgustingly strong item early game but Liandries ends up being a ~1000 gold passive which while strong doesn't really kick into effect until you have Rylai's synergy, a void staff (which I don't usually build.), and/or you're teamfighting.

75% of the time it's better to just forget about it and build a defensive stat like an hourglass etc.

Good luck syph and hope you will reach that one. I was trying to reach gold 5 at least but i'm kinda stuck on s1. All the same, whiners and ragers, the server I was playing tho was on Europe West.

That's a nice log you have there, inspires me to do the same haha
