Risky?

Well I'm wondering of the risks of buying 25M on a low level account with like 100k...Anyone have a general idea on whether I would get banned or not?

Nope. You're safe.

Lots of people straight trade much larger amounts from accounts of various skill/level with no problem at all.

There is always a slight chance though... but I don't see it happening.

You'll be fine, Jagex look at the major gold traders to clean anyway, they won't even notice you.

There is always a chance. Very limited though. You could ask the gold seller to stake it to you or something other than trading if your really worried

 

From what i've heard, the new owners of jagex aren't cracking down on RWT as much and haven't been doing many cash resets lately. Plus, 25m is such a petty amount. I wouldn't worry.
