Interesting EOC things ive found

First off Rock Crabs are lvl 100+ wdf?
2nd off all 3 mage arena spells...gone. (can someone explain)
i do like that i dont have to purchase cmbt runes for attack spells now though.
Slayer like 2-3 times faster big ups on that.
Why are staves 2h weapons, harpie lantern means no staff.
blk demons are wayy easier to kill.
why do almost all npcs have magic attacks now ie. moss giants blk demons
why do protect prayers no longer protect but instead decrease damage?

 

God Spells are replaced by Divine Storm which cost only 5 air runes
Staves are 2h but receive a 150% SPELL damage boost. Wands are 100%, dual wield is 75% each.

A lot of NPC (Moss Giants/Black Demons) have been made weak to Range. I'm not sure how well melee works on them anymore, but the combat triangle would be sort of broken if those monsters did melee damage. That means if you ranged against them they would shit on you.

Jagex disliked how prayers gave 100% protection against a combat triangle (pvm only). Now they reduced it to 50%, exactly the same as PvP. They want people to think about gear more carefully and increase in hybrid gears.

 

Yea, with rock crabs I thought that was a bit messed up :L With decent lvls they can still down you pretty fast..

 

Oh thank god rock crabs are 100 cb. Otherwise noone would train there, seeming as you only receive 10% xp if the NPC's combat level is more than 10 less than your own. However it's annoying to hear they've gained quite a lot of strength? Can anyone confirm this?

 

Interesting to hear that, I hadn't seen that algorithm before. Goodbye grinding areas, and hello to hella-crowded areas with 170+ combat...

 

I've also found that watering cans have changed. I wanted to start doing a bit of farming today, but it seems that after the EoC update, you can't water your tree seeds (no idea if I'm noobing it). If someone knows how to help though, would be appreciated.

 

Recently discovered that they have apparently removed the less 10 combat level xp cap!

 

You buy plant pots, add buckets of compost to them (not supercompost), add the seed, then add the water. Make sure your watering can is filled?

Lol I haven't had a chance to plant any seeds to see if the cans really are bugged.

 

All I know is I'm taking full advantage of Slayer as we speak
