Most underrated & overrated LCS Player

What is in your opinion the most underrated LCS player and what is the most overrated LCS Player, arguments why you think so is allowed


Most underrated:
Kasing, I honestly think he is an amazing support with not much credit.


Most overrated:
Wildturtle, ever since Immortals is doing very well and Wildturtle is having massive KDA's he is getting a lot of praise. I think wildturtle isn't bad but most likely overrated as he is often out of position and gets caught a lot (forinstance Worlds 2015). Not saying he is bad just to much praise lately.

 

Well I dont really have people in mind at this moment but i agree with you on wildturtle. People think wilds like some god rofl...

 

Agreed, there are plenty more ADC's who are better than Wildturtle. You see it at World's, everytime he comes up against the likes of Uzi and the Koreans he gets stomped. He's fine in NA, but he wasn't even performing that well on TSM. Now that he has a good team he does well, but it says more about a player if they can perform on a bad team than it does when they can perform on a good team (and yes, I called TSM bad).

 

I mean I know Immortals are doing well but I've never really seen the sentiment that Wildturtle is incredible, everyone know's he's definitely above average but I thought it was pretty clear that their power came from Huni, Reignover, and Pobelter. If an ADC was ever considered overrated, it has to be Doublelift. I mean he's good, but not 3x all-star good. Similar to WT he gets caught out a lot and can sometimes be very one-track minded while playing.

 

Reignover btw is a great jungler when they are ahead and they usually are. But when he is actually losing a match with his team he is really crappy tbh.

 

Maybe he is the reason the team does well, so when he doesn't perform the team falls to peices. Immortals are good, but they'll just build up everyones hopes and then get dropped at Worlds. They're good, but not that good.

 

Wouldn't really consider Wildturtle overrated, weren't a lot of people hating on his performance a while ago?

 

Spirit and Gamsu were overhyped, as well as Froggen.

 

Over rated;
-Bjergsen (has struggled in the last while)
-Doublelift (has play terrible so far this split)
-Froggen (not as good as everyone has been saying)

Under rated:
-Hauntzer (been tsm's best player by so far)
-Kasing (is better then people say)

 

I'd have to agree with that list. In current state though, because Bjergsen and Froggen in their peaks are great.

 

I disagree

-bjerg ( Best mid N/a) Just struggling currently
-doublelift (way over hyped and horrid gets caught a lot)
-Froggen ( Shows the difference between EU and Na. He's been Horrid) LOL

-Hauntzer ( I actually think he's extremely weak and hurts TSM)
-Kasing ( Didnt do much when I watched his games, dont know enough about him)

I watch a lot more LPL and LCK. Na and Eu is boring.

Over rated

- Looper (since winning in 14 he's done nothing. Way over paid!)
- Huni ( He's good but nearly as good as people think)

Under rated

- Bang (I believe he's the best AD currently.)
- Marin ( I dont think people realize how much he carried SKT, his teleports and engages made Skt the best in the world. They've struggled with out him)
- Mata (Best support in the game currently. Also the best play caller in the world in my opinion.)

 

@Hattez, Marin is playing the worst he ever has in his career at current.

 

I don't follow the LPL much but is it due to him solo not performing or also his entire team? He still made $Bank with his transfer to LPL though lol.

 

Pretty sure LGD is a bust this year. They've been pretty disappointing pretty much from last worlds until now.

Everyone was praising Marin at worlds (it was well deserved, he was an absolute monster) but I think people gave him too much credit, and made him appear to be this God.

 

In my opinion the most overrated is Froggen

 

Oh I know he's been playing terribly lately. I think it has a lot to do with the current meta and team. Marin is a great play caller and team fighter. LGD isnt playing around his strengths. Gnar, Mao and rumble

 

Overrated: Quas, Froggen, Xpecial

Underrated: impact, Gbd, Freeze (can this dude finally get a competent team?)
