How do you guys deal with lose streaks?

I was about to hit Silver I, which made me happy which meant I was almost back to being Gold again. I went on a ~14 lose streak dropping from Silver II with 86 LP to Silver IV. In that streak I kept multiply breaks, sometimes a full day to make sure I wasn't playing while tilted. Just seemed that everytime I started a new rank match it got worse and worse.

A lot of games I also wasn't playing well myself so it wasn't like I was still carrying hard in a losed game.

My question is how or what should I do to re-start ranked, because I am kind of afraid to drop any further .

take long breaks and try not to stress XD always works with me and if it still continues just play normals or aram for a bit

 

To be honest the moment I started playing without caring about my rank, was the moment that I started to really climb. I do think the pressure can negatively affect your play, especially while losing. Realistically, who besides you cares about your rank? Not like your next job interview will be discussing your League-related accomplishments.

 

When I played halo I made sure I didn't play while tilted sometimes taking a break for a few days and working my way back into ranked slowly. I always made sure I was enjoying the game and the moment you stop enjoying the game maybe reconsider whether it's the healthiest use of your time.

 

IGNORE your rank. You should play to get better instead of playing solely for ranks without ever actually improving your play. If you improve your play, you'll eventually climb, it's inevitable. You should take it upon yourself to accept loss, you should stop caring about wins/losses and instead analyse each game. You should analyse your losses more often because that's where you mostly likely made the most mistakes. Watch yourself, what did you do wrong? What could you do better? Why did your team lose? Play to get better each game instead of focusing on ranks.

Also, you could play normal games after loss streaks to help you get away from tilt.

 

You should try playing with friends so the game is less stressful, try to find a duo partner. Even if they are horrible it will make the game alot better because it will be more friendly and you may laugh at some of the mistakes you make with them

 

And in the case that you care a lot about League you have to remember that rank is supposed to reflect your skill - focus on getting better and improving your skill (which will then in turn improve your rank) as opposed to thinking about reaching silver, or reaching gold, or whatever.

 

I just chill back and watch an episode of netflix, watch a short 3-5min montage of some pro player and start ranking again. Seems to work for me.

 

Just take some deep breaths, and play a bit more slowly..

If that fails, I usually jump off a cliff

 

My problem atm seems to be that when I have a lose I go do something else to set my mind of league and than after a few hours or the next day(s) I will try again. This is how I approached my lose streak so far, but the lose streak only become more. I generally don't tilt/rage/blame people. Only thing I maybe should do is analyze my games more proper.

 

You could also try playing a cheese champ like teemo, i always have fun playing teemo.

You should pick up a duo if you're still playing alone its alot more enjoyable.

 

I like to take a deep breath, relax and then go look at OP.GG to see how I'm doing.

First, I take a look at my deaths. What could I have done to lower that number? Should I have taken more risks for the team? Then I move on and take a look at other things that I could have impacted, things that I had the power to change.

At the end of the day though, this is a team game. Sometimes you're unlucky, and some games just aren't winnable. Just keep a positive outlook and don't let the last game impact your next game negatively. I remember seeing Dyrus say that he likes to take a 12-20 minute break in between games, regardless of winning or losing just to clear his mind.

EDIT - Also remember, this is a game. You're playing to have fun. If ranked is to stressful, and you find the fun is being sucked out of the game, turn to some arams, or take a break for a week or two and come back to it. This should be a leisurely activity, not something that adds stress to your life.

 

Log out, cry ina corner, log back in, and repeat.

 

Tbh, My guess is just to look for a good duo partner you can trust that can win and believe nothing such as tilt and always try to encourage your teammates even if they do stuff bad don't go full out mad but be passively aggressive so they get message or just Ping the ? sign every few times to piss them off so everyone gets mad

 

I break my face with my keyboard, which I also break and quit for months and inevitably come back. That's what I do. Anyone else?
