Read if you use ArteRange RSBuddy Bot!

Hello Sythe Users,

Roughly 3 or 4 days ago my younger brother got banned for Macoring due to using the RS Buddy Range Guild bot, "ArteRange." He created a new account because he didn't want to wait the 14 days to get unbanned. He set up the same bot again and got banned THE SAME DAY he created the account. I figured wow, I have botted so many times and have never been banned before. Sure enough, 2 days later (today), I get banned for botting with the same script.

If you are currently botting at Range Guild, I suggest moving to SW or a new location to prevent the possibility of getting banned. Seems they are cracking down hard on Range Guild botters.

Indeed I think they have changed the system so that they can differentiate between bots & legit human.

 

Same is happening to rsbots version, its so easy to report considering you just stand there in the range guild and if someone says hi or are you there then if you don't reply they have the right to assume you are botting. Only excuse/way round this is turning your public chat off and if you get banned explain to jagex you couldn't see them talking to you anyway. But then again if a moderator pops up, you truly are f'ed.

This is true. I would assume that it would be easy to catch but I feel the only way you could get banned is if a moderator did show up because If some random started talking to you, it isn't against the rules not to reply.

 

Unfortunately, this is wrong. You can banned even without a report against you. They have detection software, and it looks like it just got updated b

 

Lmao, no they don't this is a false myth and the reason why there are so many botters, runescape can't differentiate between botters and legitters in most cases. However, with this bot, using common sense and logic it's easy to see this is a bot to stay away from and why bots like MTA, Dungeoneering and Runecrafting don't get caught due to no one being able to talk to you.

Lol, I used it from 82-90 range a while back no problems. I was AFK at college 90% of the time. But this was late May, guessing this is a recent development.

Are you sure they just didnt chain-ban your IP?

 

Range Guild has a very high ban-rate, because It's so obvious. It will stay that way for a while in my honest opinion.

 

Yeah I used it on another account from 70-94 with no problems.

Well It was a day after he got banned that I did. If they banned our IP I wouldn't have even been able to log in after he got banned.

What a shame. I don't want to have to start training legit. Too boring.

 

I read a post on the runescape forums and it said by a jagex moderator that they already have a system.. "Players reporting them", but as most the population of runescape players are botting now the system is failing a bit.. so they might have of made a software that achieves this..

By the way alot of people go to range guild to try and lure the bots and most of them will report aswell to anwser the question

 

This is also wrong because Runecrafting had a mass ban not to long ago.

Yeah, I was banned on a range pure of mine just over a week ago, so yeah, this is true.

Yeah, it does man. I received the account back on Friday and nothing was rolled back so it wasn't too bad
