Gold prices?

    Gold prices?
    Why is the gold price on OSRS generally going up?

    Back in March it was around $2.30-2.40 per mill. In May-June it went up to 3.00-3.20 per mill. Now it's almost at $4 per mill... Yet in-game items are crashing and gp is entering the game more now than ever.

    Can someone explain this? I feel like I'm missing something.

    Banrates are very high, so goldfarmers are having a hard time getting gold to sell. When supply decreases, the price increases.
