Review my simplistic style

Created in The Gimp 2.4 using a single brushpack and a USB device that I can draw on. The Font used is The Poison from DaFont.com

Also, I do realize that the background is not the same colour as the board anymore because it has changed mildly. I no longer have the .cfg (equivalent of .psd)

 

It's nice, but I dislike the colours used :S.

And also, for once, I see a sig with matching text - which is the hardest thing to do in a sig. Good job.

 

I think in this case you used simplistic as an excuse to not do to much with the piece, your avatar is more suited for this style of art being a smaller piece.

 

Nice for GIMP, I would wear it if I had the chance to change a few things.

 

Doesn't look like you did much. It's good for an avatar but for a sig it's too simple. All you did was brush and I know a little or two about GIMP and even that, is a bit simple. There is a lot of informative guides (that tell you what else you can) use those.

 

the only brush was the mild splatter in the background, and last time I was here a couple years ago, only 2-3 tuts were GIMP

hopefully they arn't anymore.
