How to safely sell rs3 gold?

I am new to the whole gold selling thing and am looking for the safest way as a new seller to sell gold. It’s critical it be iron clad as even though I have been a member here for almost a year, I have few posts and no vouches. What would be the best way in my case? I have 3 billion extra gold, and a baby on the way and a addition to build for my house. I can’t afford to get scammed, I need the extra money. Is PayPal the safest transaction method if you are videoing the trade Incase of dispute?

 

Sell it to one of the biggest vendors, 99% safe

 

PayPal is not the safest method. Sell your gold to a large website with a ton of couches for bitcoin only. Do it over a few trades so they don't have incentive to scam

 

Talk to several sites live chats and see what the current rates for selling gp are. The rate changes every day and you can often find a better price by shopping around.

The most secure method by far is by doing it with a big site and accepting Bitcoin - as it cannot be charged back.

 

Also it might be a good idea to somehow transfer the gold to a character you don't care about losing. Possibly drop trade? Fake a hijacking? Or stake your own character on a different IP? (haven't figured a safe way out yet)

I've had several temp and permabans .. for macroing? after selling. I think many of the big sites also use bots and if you give them large amounts of gold, Jagex connects your characters to theirs, then bans them all.

 

Stay away from the smaller foreign sites that buy gp imo, stick with bigger buyers.

 

stay away from f2p gold resellers and try to sell it via polypore stakes.

 

Im not sure if you mean safely as to avoid a ban
or safely as to avoid getting scammed.
There are tons of trusted people on sythe but to avoid taking big risks sell it in increments.

Find a reputable merchant and/or only take crypto payments - Increments is always a good idea, but never rule out "bad luck".

 

You're always risking a ban by doing RWT.
I have never been banned for RWT and I have done straight gold trades, staking method, etc.
I even use F2P sellers.
Don't want to be scammed? Sell it for cheaper through Paypal to a big known RWT site.

And yes, PayPal is safe, but only for the bigger sites. Always screen capture your transactions. It's also 3b RS3 which isn't the same as 3b 07.

Finally, don't trade over multiple days. The ban risk would be too high, and you are kidding goodbye to your account.

Alternatively, sell your account with the GP through PlayersAuctions or Sythe. Because unless you're going to fake a hijacking or get creative the ban rate is almost guaranteed with big sites as their accounts get flagged. PA is probably better because you're not known enough here though you don't have to sell the account for retail, just the gold.

I'll just add that if you indeed sell for BTC as people are suggesting, agree on a certain quantity of BTC rather than a $ price - since BTC prices fluctuate, this is a good way to ensure both you and the buyer are happy with the actual amount paid.

Use one of those sites and you'll be fine in my opinion; but as stated above never rule out "bad luck"

 

if you're worried about bans, I actually recommend NOT selling to sites as they're more high profile, but selling your gold to a trusted and established gold shop on sythe like myself @QBD @Laziz or @Dieze

 

As long as you are trading with a high total account that legitly plays runescape to another old/high total level account with some items in the other trade you should be safe and not have any problems in my opinion. Another tip would be stick to less than 500m rs3 trades per trade.

 

You're all assuming he's talking about ban safety and not safety from being scammed. I was assuming the latter with my post.
